Former Gills playmaker Bradley Dack paid tribute to the Gillingham fans in a parting message following his £750,000 switch to Blackburn Rovers.
The 23-year-old posted a message on his Twitter account to thank the support he received during his time at the Gills, saying that the time was right for him to move on from Priestfield to further his career.
“Would like to thank Gillingham Football Club for everything they have done for me over the last few years,” he began.
“I have really enjoyed my time there, and met some great people. The fans have been amazing for me through the years but I just feel now was the right time to go on and further my career.

“So I am absolutely delighted to sign for a club like Blackburn Rovers, it is a club that has the ambition to go and play at the top again. And it is something that I am excited to be a part of. Can’t wait to get started, and help to try and get this club back where it belongs!”
