The encouraging signs continued on Tuesday night as the Gills picked up their latest victory in pre-season, thanks to a 4-1 home win over Belgian third-tier side Patro Eisden.

The Gills went a goal behind early on, but a Darren Oldaker free kick drew the home side level before another Oldaker set piece teed up Josh Wright to fire the Gills ahead before half-time.

The second half saw Connor Ogilvie nod in a third and Noel Mbo add a fourth as the Gills cruised to a 4-1 win at Priestfield.

Our friends GillsInTheBlood and The Last Waltz Blog were in attendance at Priestfield to check out the side in action as the team racked up their fifth win from six games ahead of the new season.
